4 Wardrobe Basics You Should Have in Your Closet (Sunday edition)

As everybody wants to have a chill day once a week I decided to show you four fashion staples for feeling cozy and chilled but also a bit fashionable (in case some friends surprise you - we all been there).

Black leggings

They are simple and a classic in every wardrobe. I always tend to shop for a good pair of workout leggings as these tend to fit my figure the best.

White tank

Wanted to include this as everybody should (in my opinion at least) own one. They are great to layer under sweatshirts, flannels, etc.

Grey sweatshirt

Love them printed, plain, knitted - pretty much all styles out there. You will never see me without some hints of grey especially in the fall time.

"sweater weather is better weather."

Flannels

Love them. Nothing more to say. Comfy, stylish and easy to wear.

Hope you like my little Sunday blogpost about being comfy without looking to crazy.

Where I get my fashion inspiration from...

Like every girl I have some fashion "idols" (either brands, bloggers, stars or magazines). But let's talk about some which I follow religiously - well not really, but you get what I mean.

BRANDS:

Chloé: As this is a brand I will never be able to afford something from (well never say never but...) I do like to search for dupes on the high street. I especially am in love with the dresses, skirts and bags. Everything looks so floaty, romantic and elegant. These clothes are very, very feminine and are definitely a huge inspiration.

COACH: As I own two bags and a backpack by this brand, I do have to say that I'm a little obsessed with their style. Atm I am daydreaming about the REXY sweatshirt.

GUCCI: Some of their stuff I really do admire and am always searching for dupes (like for the loafers).

Réalisation Par: Nothing more to say about their dresses, right?!

BLOGGERS:

Tanya Burr: I am totally smitten by her style as she dresses very feminine but also with some fun elements.

thelittlemagpie: Her style really is upon my street and I love to read her blogposts about fashion and lifestyle.

hello october: She was the first youtuber I ever watched and I totally fell in love with her channel.

MAGAZINES:

I always like to look for some inspiration in magazines. I pretty much only read InStyle, Elle and Harper's Bazaar.

STARS:

Normally I look for pictures of Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lawrence (for evening wear) and also Vanessa Hudgens (for some bohemian vibes).

FASHION STAPLE: wrap dress

As wrap dresses are very elegant and fun to style I wanted to show you two outfits featuring my favorite wrap dresses.

As I have a pear shaped body it is very difficult for me to find flattering dresses and skirts. But as the wrap dress can be adjusted it is ideal for my body shape. I love that it accentuates my waist! I personally find the best wrap dresses at Zara and BIK BOK.

But now onto the styling. In summer I love ti wear the wrap dress with "tennis sneakers" and a cool jeans jacket or summer trench (but as it is so hot outside rn I decided to go without a jacket). But they are also useful for the transition into fall. Simply wear a pair of tights under it and combine it with cool boots and a leather jacket or a wool cardigan.

BIK BOK:

Dress - Bik Bok
Sneakers: Primark
Necklace: H&M
Glasses: Rayban

I love this dress because it really, really looks like something you would find at a thrift store.

Zara:

Dress - Zara
Shoes - Primark
Necklace - H&M

The color and the quality of the dress are very lovely and also very wearable for summer as well as autumn.

Watch collection

As watches add so much detail to an outfit, I love to have some in my drawer. There are just a few which I use all the time (like literally every day) and therefore would love to show you.

I have a DW, one Jacques Lemans and one Rosefield watch. I love each of them the same.

But I have to say that I use the Rosefield one the most as I adore the leather strap as it is very sturdy (in my opinion at least). As I almost only wear gold jewelry I decided to go for the gold version of the Rosefield Tribeca. I own the pink and the grey strap which both look very elegant and timeless.

My mom gave the Jacques Lemans one to me and I really, really love it as the strap is very well made and the cut of the dial is extremely beautiful. I don't wear it as often as I don't want to add any more scratches to the dial.

And last but not least I want to talk about my DW watch. It is available in many colors and styles. My watch is the Classic Winchester (36 mm) one and I own two straps as well.
